Why Discord?

We’re excited to have you join us for our hybrid conference! Whether you’re attending in-person or online, we believe everyone should have the same opportunity to engage, network, and participate. Discord is a free-to-use social platform that you can access on any device (phone/computer/tablet) by downloading the software OR simply from your web browser (go to https://discord.com/login).
Our discord server has text channels and voice channels oriented to different conference sessions. Text channels provide instant messaging and discussions while voice channels let you join quick audio/video calls.

How to join?

Each attendee should receive a discord invite link in their email from the neuromusic team. Please email us if you need the link sent again.
Use the invite link to join our Neuromusic 2024 server. Don’t forget to say Hi when you’re in!

At a glance

Engage with Speakers: Post questions/comments related to a talk and the speakers can get back to you asynchronously, before/after the talk.

Attend Poster Sessions:  Virtual poster presenters should join their dedicated voice channel during the conference poster sessions. Online/in-person attendees can drop into these voice channels during the session. You can also share your questions in the text channels for specific virtual posters or the session.

Connect with Peers: Find other presenters and attendees on the server’s users list, discuss key topics, or just hang out in our virtual hangout spaces!

Stay Updated: Get instant updates on sessions, events, and announcements from the conference organizers.

Network Anytime: Our Discord server stays active post-conference, so you can revisit topics and continue networking at your convenience.
